You can never tell how something
How can someone can affect you like no one
And when they bring you laughter
Then soon after come the tears
There is no more and nothing less to hear
Because deep instead it's what mainly feared
You can never love someone
Without falling for everything
That they stand for and when something
Goes wrong you're quick to blame
And feel the shame
It's a cold case of love
Daggers reign from above
And it seems that it isn't enough
Before you go too far
Go too far for love
Steady hands lead to steady mind
But hectic schedules wreak individuals
Mind over matter
People forget the latter
And slowly deteriorate
And then obliterate
Prison cell, lonely hard and cold
It takes time to end up on your own
But many people told me
That it couldn't trust you
That I should walk by
Instead rewind the tune
You can never love someone
Without falling for everything
That they stand for and when something
Goes wrong you're quick to blame
And feel the shame
It's a cold case of love
Daggers reign from above
And it seems that it just isn't enough
Before you go too far
Go too far for love
Eyes views memories
Mind translates these
Hearts starts to break
Hand held middle plate
Gun fire, glass breaks
Flashing lights, Yellow tape
Tears fall into place
Cold case of love
How far would you go to love a person?
